01 • WHO WE ARE
A family with a battle plan.
“Be active when you can. Communicate when you can’t. Respect the team. Fight as one PiG.”
PiG is a relaxed but organised international alliance on Server 97. Real life comes first; honest communication, reliability and fighting for the shared result keep the Pigsty strong.
02 • PROOF OF LIFE
The name that nearly was.
“We’ve had some great name suggestions over the years. One that particularly sticks in my memory is Pjork, but sadly, it didn’t get the vote!”
Sam13 remembers the people, peculiar decisions and stories that helped turn the alliance into PiG.

The Sgt Interviews… Sam13
From Shooty McShooty to PiG — memories from one of the alliance’s longest-serving members.
THE SGT01
Hello, Sam! Thanks for stepping into the interrogation room—don’t worry, we’ve removed the bright lamp. How are you?
SAM13
Hi, Sgt. I’m okay, thank you. How are you doing?
THE SGT
Still upright, fuelled by coffee and held together by military-grade sticky tape! Let’s start at the beginning. How long have you been part of the alliance?
SAM13
I joined about two and a half years ago. At that time, the alliance was called Shooty McShooty. We then changed to Pew Pew Pew before eventually becoming PiG.
We’ve had some great name suggestions over the years. One that particularly sticks in my memory is Pjork, but sadly, it didn’t get the vote!
THE SGT02
Pjork! A magnificent name cruelly denied its place in history. PiG has also had several different leaders over the years. Who has occupied the big chair?
SAM13
It’s Shooty’s alliance, of course, but there have been several occasions when he’s had to stand down, so we’ve had a few different leaders.
Jurgo was the first, I think. He was quite an impulsive soul. We would agree on a time for an event, then he would suddenly announce, ‘Let’s do it now!’
Reetzy stepped up a couple of times too. He’s on Server 80 now, of course. Then there’s Allied, who leads us today.
Hell, I was even leader for a week—I couldn’t wait for it to end!
THE SGT03
A whole week in command? No wonder you’re now happier controlling the trains! Who are some of the characters you remember from the early days?
SAM13
When I first started, we had a player called Zombie Dave. He was a very popular guy—the kind of person you always wanted in your corner.
He and Chop were like a double act. They used to make me crack up, and there were always loads of jokes about fish!
When Dave said he was leaving, many of us begged him to stay, but sadly, we didn’t succeed.
THE SGT04
Chop remains a very important part of PiG’s history too, doesn’t he?
SAM13
Yes. As you know, we lost our dear friend Chop earlier this year, and he is missed so very much.
He left the game just over a year ago, and I always thought he would eventually come back. Sadly, as we now know, it was never to be.
THE SGT05
Some players leave behind battle reports. Others leave behind expressions that become part of alliance folklore. Tell us about Pawa and the mysterious act of ‘doing a Pawa.’
SAM13
I don’t think you were with us when we had a player called Pawa. You can still find him on the map, although he doesn’t play anymore.
I can’t remember exactly what he did now—perhaps he started rallies during alliance events—but Shooty became so mad with him that he left the alliance, burned Pawa’s base and then rejoined!
After that, whenever somebody put up a rally at the wrong moment, we used to say they were ‘doing a Pawa.’
You might need to check the full story with Shooty and see whether he remembers!

Three posters. One unmistakable sty.
Humour, loyalty and the occasional unreasonable quantity of military equipment.

THE FOUNDING CHARTER
How the Sty Holds Together
Strength. Unity. Reliability.
PiG is a relaxed but organised alliance. We are here to enjoy the game, grow stronger and win together without turning it into a job. Real life always comes first; honest communication is what keeps the alliance strong.
01
Show up when you can
Stay active where real life allows, check in at least once every 48 hours and take part in alliance events whenever possible.
02
Speak up when you can’t
Signing up means you intend to participate. If plans change, tell R4 or R5 early so the team can reorganise.
03
Respect every PiG
Follow clear R4 and R5 instructions, keep chat respectful and leave drama, toxicity and personal arguments outside the Pigsty.
04
Alliance before ego
Fight for the shared result before personal rewards. Support newer and weaker PiGs, follow the plan and win as one.
05
Firm, fair and private
Discipline is soft but consistent. Effort and communication are protected; repeated silence, inactivity, disruption or unexplained no-shows may affect priority or membership. There is no public shaming.
06
The gate stays open
Removing an inactive or disruptive player protects a healthy alliance; it is never personal. PiGs are welcome to return when circumstances change and they are ready to contribute again.
04 • HOW TO JOIN
Two ways in. One standard once you’re here.
01
ALREADY ON SERVER 97?
Direct recruitment
If you’re currently with another alliance on Server 97 and think PiG might be the right fit, speak with Sam13 or AndyM. They’ll discuss available places, alliance expectations and the next steps for moving to PiG.
02
JOINING FROM ANOTHER SERVER?
End-of-season server swaps
PiG also considers new members through server swaps at the end of each season. Transfer availability and contact details will appear here when the recruitment window opens.
YOUR RECRUITMENT TEAM
Speak to a PiG who knows the gate.
Sam13 and AndyM handle direct recruitment on Server 97 and seasonal transfer discussions when the swap window is open.
